I’ll be updating this throughout the show! How many did I get right? 15 out of 23!
That was the best Oscar awards I’ve seen in a year!
I thought that after Innaritu and Lubetzski won Director and Cinematographer that The Revenant would be a lock, but Spotlight pulled it out. It is a great film, up there with the best of all time.
After 6 nominations, Leonardo DiCaprio finally got it!
One last plea, if you haven’t seen “Room,” do not miss it. Brie Larson and Jacon Tremblay were fantastic.
Mad Max Fury Road wins 5 awards but George Miller goes without still. Innaritu wins a 3rd straight Oscar for best director. That has only happened one other time in history.
Congratulations Ennio Morricone. What a career! Thank you Quentin Tarantino for giving him this opportunity.
Powerful Performance by Lady Gaga. Am I the only one who misses the crazy Lady Gaga who wore meat dresses and swan heads, she is very talented.
Joe Biden Gets a huge standing ovation for no reason. But he is presenting for a good reason. ItsOnUs.org.
I always love the in memoriam segment. That acoustic version of Blackbird was a great backdrop.
How did I not know that Cheryl Boone Isaacs, the President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, is a BLACK WOMAN! The first African American to be elected to that position but the third woman. It looks like the Oscars aren’t so white after all.
I think Louis CK is one of the best presenters I’ve ever seen. He just nailed it speaking of the Best Documentary Short Picture race, “This Oscar is going home in a Honda Civic.”
Mark Ryland takes home a surprising win over Sylvester Stallone in the est Supporting Actor race. Good call Academy for not giving the white guy the award in the film where the black star was not nominated.
I don’t even have best sound mixing on here! How did I miss that one? The nominees were: “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” “Mad Max: Fury Road” “The Martian” “The Revenant” “Bridge of Spies” Another win for Mad Max Fury Road!
Wow! Mad Max is really raking in the awards tonight. Hopefully George Miller gets the credit when it comes to Best Director.
I though Chris Rock did well to criticize the lack of Black diversity in Hollywood. He did it with humor and class. I believe that everyone should have the same opportunities regardless of color or heritage.
